Eric Stoppenhagen, CPA, JD, MBA
Mr. Eric Stoppenhagen has been President of DigiPath, Inc. since October 2010. Mr. Stoppenhagen has more than 10 years of financial experience, having served in an executive capacity for several public and private companies. He has been involved in the digital pathology space since 2003 providing Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Financials support to Trestle Holdings, Inc., BioImagene, Inc., and Amakem International. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration both from George Washington University. Mr. Stoppenhagen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting both from Indiana University.
Steven D. Barbee
Mr. Steven D. Barbee, Vice President of DigiPath, Inc., since February 2012. Mr. Barbee has organized sales teams and developed sales strategies within the life sciences and digital pathology industries for over 8 years. Prior to joining DigiPath, Mr. Barbee was Vice President of Sales, International, and Government Affairs at BioImagene, Inc., a digital pathology firm acquired by Roche Corporation in the fall of 2010. Before joining BioImagene, Mr. Barbee was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Trestle Corporation, a digital pathology firm acquired by Clarient, Inc in the fall of 2006. For the prior 13 years, Mr. Barbee held various sales and operation management positions within telecommunication industries. Mr. Barbee led a private business consulting firm, and worked as Vice President, Sales Director, and Sales Manager with Zyan Communications, Inc., Level 3 Communications, Inc., ICG Telecom Group, and AT&T. Mr. Barbee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Colorado College.
Dr. Scott Forster
Dr. Scott Forster joined Digipath, Inc. at the end of 2011 and serves as Director of Marketing. Dr. Forster has been successfully leading product management and marketing teams in both start-up and blue-chip environments. Dr. Forster has more than 11 years of digital imaging experience, having served in a development capacity for several public and private companies. He has been involved in the digital pathology space since 2001 providing Concept Creation and Product Management with FujiFilm Electronic Imaging. Dr. Forster headed the Clinical Imaging Business Unit of Leica Microsystems where he provided Product Management Leadership as well as Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Strategy Support for their migration into Digital Imaging. Dr. Forster has 5 years product strategy experience with specialisms in IP Assessment, Market Launch Planning and Value Pricing. He holds a Doctorate in Biological Science, specializing in cell analysis, awarded by the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science with Honors, in Microbial Biotechnology, from the University of Liverpool.
